Psychiatry division at GG Hospital aims to enhance the mental health and thereby improve the overall health and well being of patients. Focusing on identifying the mind-brain disorders and associated problems, psychiatry specialists will develop advanced evidence-based evaluations and treatment programs. Different psychiatry treatments conducted at GG Hospital include depressive disorders, social withdrawal, thought problems, concentration and attention problems, anxiety disorders, phobias, high levels of stress, life transitions reactions and many other psychiatric problems. Specialized psychiatry services provided are emergency evaluation, individual/marital/family counseling, psychiatric assessment, medical imaging studies and functional skill assessments programs. Based on each individual case, the treatment varies from one-to-one counseling to group therapy sessions and education.
